Very excited for today’s post because it’s EXTRA special! Why, You may ask? Well because I had the honor of photographing two very special friends of ours who recently got engaged, Ray & Eryn! Ray and John (my husband if you didn’t already know) grew up together and have had some good times together. They sound like two old men when you put them in a room and they start reminiscing about the good ol’ days! I’ll admit though those two have some pretty hilarious stories, almost straight out of your typical teen movie LOL 😉 . Anywho just a few weeks ago out of no where I get a call from Eryn and the first thing she says to me is “Naaaadya….” I knew from the sound of her voice that Ray popped the question she didn’t have to say another word. She was so excited and we were excited for the both of them, yay!! Eryn and Ray originally met at Seton Hall University and have been together ever since, so this has been quite the love story in the making.
Eryn & Ray, Thank you so very much for asking me to take your engagement photos. It was really hard to narrow down the images for this post, I had a really fun time with you both and we are wishing you all the best on this incredible and fun journey you are about to start together. You both have been great friends to us and we hope to have many more good times and I cannot wait till your wedding day , cause it’s gonna be FUN, I may need a week or so to recover I am sure. xoxo
The session took place at Project Playground in Annandale, NJ. This is where Ray proposed to Eryn and it’s also a playground that he volunteered his time during it’s construction. His family donated to the project and therefore had their family name engraved in the park along with a few hundred other names. When he proposed to Eryn he was trying to find his family name in the park but had no luck, I also tried when I  went to scout the location and tried to look but there literally was a lot of names and all sideways so my neck hurt after awhile and I gave up, BUT luckily he found it the day of the session!
If you look to the left you will his family name “The Prado Family” yay!
Eryn the camera loves you
Yea you too Ray 😉
Of course I had to get them on the slide, I am just glad no one got hurt, although it looks lik he is coming straight at me
A little playtime with the Instax 😉 . Eryn showing Blue Steel Ray you did an AWESOME Â job on the ring I looooove it a lot!
