At the start of the month I had the pleasure of capturing Lily & Vieoence’s big day! originally they booked my service without meeting me at all or speaking with me so it was definitely different then usual but thank you to Vernell of Maikai Weddings for sending them my way! We did get to meet briefly a few months before their wedding to go over details and so that we were not complete strangers on the day of. I truly appreciate that a couple just by looking at my work online trust in me enough to capture their day! Lily currently resides in Philadelphia while Vieoence works over seas in London! Yes this was a long distance relationship but they made it work! Lily will be joining Vieoence in London after their honeymoon and that will be their new home, lucky! Remember you two I have no problems traveling to London if you want to do a session later on haha. Never hurts to throw that out there 😉 .
Their wedding day started off at the BEAUTIFUL St. Peters Basilica in the heart of Philly. I was so in love with the architecture of the church….
My second shooter for the day Mary got the below shot! I love these kinds of shots…
We then made our way across the street to the Franklin Institute for some shots! Philly was packed that day, it was the Made in America concert series so there were people everywhere…
This is one of my favorite shots of the day!
No you are not seeing double, the groom has a twin. Something they forgot to mention to me LOL and at the ceremony I was lost for a minute when I swore I saw Vieoence inside and then saw his brother outside….. 😛 i also accidentally posed him with the bride at some point in the day, you gotta tell a girl these things 😉
The guys insisted on picking up Lily!
Next we headed to Love Park! Walking up to the park i saw a gate and a cop, but then the cop was nice enough to let us in and we had the entire park to ourselves!! How lucky is that?! Usually it’s pretty packed, I was sooooo excited!
At the grooms request 😉 how cute are they!
Reception took place at the Hilton
